
Getting To Muddles
Muddles Lodge is located in Perisher Ski Resort, within the beautiful Kosciuszko National Park.
Upon your arrival to Perisher, we’ll meet you at the Perisher SkiTube Station and transfer you on a short oversnow journey to our lodge. See our Oversnow Shuttle Service drop down on how to book your shuttle times and more information.
As we are in an alpine environment, there is no overnight parking in Perisher Valley during the winter.

Upon arrival at Perisher Resort, our complimentary oversnow shuttle service will transfer you from the Perisher SkiTube Station to Muddles Lodge.
Please book your preferred shuttle time when making your reservation.
OVERSNOW SHUTTLE SCHEDULE
Morning Luggage-Only Times: 8:30am & 9:30am
Afternoon Arrival Times: 3:30pm & 4:30pm
When you arrive at Perisher Resort, your oversnow driver (Celia, Ilyes or Victoria) will greet you outside the northern end of the Perisher SkiTube Station, near the Aldo’s Restaurant exit. Keep a look out for our oversnow vehicles with the Muddles logo.
GETTING TO MUDDLES OUTSIDE SHUTTLE HOURS
For arrivals outside our scheduled oversnow shuttle times, guests are required to arrange their own transport via the 4Site Oversnow Taxi service. This service is at your own expense and can be booked by calling (02) 6412 2244 or by visiting the 4Site counter located inside the Perisher Valley Skitube Terminal.

If you plan to ski on the day of your arrival, we can arrange a luggage-only collection from the Perisher SkiTube Station on our 8:30am & 9:30am shuttles services.
Please arrive ready to go in your boots and ski wear.
After your day on the slopes, you can either ski back to Muddles from 3pm to check-in, or use our afternoon oversnow service at 3:30pm or 4:30pm
Similarly, if you wish to ski on your departure day, your luggage can be dropped off on our 3:30pm or 4:30pm shuttle service.

The easiest way to get to Perisher is with Snow Connect. For families and larger groups, it’s often a more convenient and cost-effective alternative to the SkiTube.
Snow Connect offers private transfers direct to Perisher Resort, with convenient pick-up options from Canberra Airport or Jindabyne.

WHAT IS THE SKITUBE?
The SkiTube is an underground train, that takes guests from Bullocks Flat to Perisher Valley Terminal. The SkiTube saves guests the cost of National Park entry fees, and provides free overnight parking.
HOW TO CATCH THE SKITTUBE?
To catch the SkiTube, guests drive to Bullocks Flat Ski Tube Terminal, and leave their vehicle in the 'Overnight Parking' area.
Guests then travel with their luggage to Perisher Valley Terminal (First Stop), where our team greets you outside the Aldo’s Restaurant Exit.

Travel on Greyhound's direct service from Sydney, Sydney Airport, Canberra, or Canberra Airport, to Bullocks Flat SkiTube Terminal.
Services start 6 June 2025. Seats are limited, so be sure to book in advance.

SKI & SNOWBOARD HIRE
To make your first day on the slopes as easy as possible, we recommend collecting your rental equipment on the day of your arrival, prior to your Muddles oversnow pick-up. Allow rouhgly an hour before your shuttle to collect your gear.
Preferred Rental Providers:
Perisher Snowsports Hire - Perisher Snowsports Hire is our preferred provider, conveniently located in the Perisher Centre, just a short walk across the bridge from the Perisher Valley Terminal.
Rental gear can be collected from 2pm the day before your first ski day.

Rhythm Snowsports - Offering hire services in Cooma and Smiggins Hole. The Cooma store is a convenient pit stop on the drive to the snow, while their Smiggins Hole location can assist with faulty equipment if needed. www.rhythmsnowsports.com.au

Ski-in, ski-out access is available via the Interceptor Chairlift and North Perisher T-Bar when conditions allow (usually from late June to mid-September, depending on snowfall).
With fantastic blue and black runs right to our doorstep, simply grab a trail map and head out for an exciting day on the slopes.
In low snow periods, our oversnow shuttle service operates morning and afternoon transfers to and from the Front Valley ski area. This shuttle service also operates daily throughout the season for beginners and those with lessons who wish to start their day at Front Valley.
For those who are novice skiers and up, you can easily ski back to the lodge via the gentle green ‘Interceptor Access Trail’. Once you reach the Interceptor Chairlift, a short walk or slide along the flat road will bring you right back to the lodge.

Guests are encouraged to arrive between 3pm - 5pm and must pre-book their oversnow shuttle at either 3:30pm or 4:30pm

A meal can be kept warm for guests arriving between 7pm - 8pm
Guests arriving after 8pm will not be served a meal, as our kitchen will be closed.
Unfortunately, we cannot offer booking price reductions for late arrivals and we recommend guests dine on their way to Perisher.
Please note that we’re unable to accommodate late-night arrivals in Perisher due to resort access limitations. We recommend planning your travel to arrive during the afternoon oversnow shuttle times.
